Water flow without flap impacts
In a pumping station, the return flow of waste water to the pump can cause damaging flap impacts and pressure waves. Fromme F&M Armaturen Vertriebs GmbH‘s new product range includes the TSK non-return valve, which prevents these damaging pressure waves and flap impacts.
Thanks to the synchro system, the flap moves very precisely and synchronously with the water flow and allows the non-return flap to close very quickly and in a controlled manner when the pump is switched off. As this means that large volumes of water do not have to come to a standstill, the flap does not hit and does not cause any harmful pressure waves. The TSK synchro non-return valve is controlled by one or two spring assemblies.
The design of the spring assemblies is based on the minimum and maximum capacity of the pumps and is preset in the factory to the operating conditions of the system. Fine adjustment on site is possible. This means that the non-return valve functions independently without the use of hydraulics or pneumatics.
The TSK non-return valve as part of a system is characterized by a low flow resistance, a large inspection cover and a low-maintenance design.
The advantages at a glance:
- No flap impacts.
- No harmful pressure waves.
- Prevention of damage to the system.
- 100% free flow.
- Horizontal and vertical installation.
